Eileen has been doing such a great job on the blog to date I really haven’t done much, however, I thought I’d jump in with a few comments.
Below is the DBS Ferry route from Japan to Russia with a 4 hr stop in Korea.
Not much to do in Korea as we weren’t near the city center. We took a short walk around the area and it certainly wasn’t like Japan. In Japan the streets and buildings are pristine…..no trash or liter anywhere. As you can see, Korea is a little different.
As we were entering the Vladivostok harbor, I was taking photos from the top deck of the ferry when the ferry Captan walked over to me and invited me into the control room. He explained the harbor layout and showed me the radar layout and how it tracked other vessels around ours….it was the highlight of the ferry trip. Below are a couple photos
